Our management team has over 100 years of combined accounting experience, complemented with experienced personnel from other disciplines.


Chris Robinson

Executive Chairman

Chris worked at KPMG and qualified as an ACA from ICAEW in 1991.


He left KPMG to set up his own accounting and management consultancy firm; which provides part-time FD services to SMEs. Chris sold his practice to move into industry and worked as the FD for an Internet Incubator and in the Recruitment Sector.


Chris founded QX in 2003. He moved with his family to India and formed a core team of 5 accountants (4 of which are still with QX). Chris has worked with this team to build QX to its current strength.


Anil Bhambhani

Non-Executive Director

Anil is a Chartered Accountant and a member of the Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India. He has over 14 years of experience in Accounting, Investment Banking and Wealth Management.


As QX’s first employee, Anil is a mentor for the company. With his clear and logical thinking and his no-nonsense approach to problems, he is used as a sounding board by all team members. He is responsible for corporate governance and strategic development.


Tim Lees

Operational Client Director

Tim is a qualified chartered management accountant of 20+ years standing with global experience of running major Finance programmes in telecommunications, defence & aerospace and chemical sectors. He was the financial controller for a £14billion merger between British Aerospace and Marconi Electronic Systems and also renegotiated a major IT Outsourcing contract of $2billion saving over $250m over a 5 year contract term.


For the past 3.5 years Tim has held senior BPO F&A roles within the Xansa and Steria organisations, managing Indian offshore teams of 300+ whilst also growing the BPO business by over £200m annual revenue.


He is an innovative programme / project manager who is results driven, logical and who utilises flexible approaches to exceeding targets. Tim is an articulate, confident and persuasive team-builder, able to motivate and communicate to achieve exceptional business performance.


Tim and his partner Kathy live in Chester, Cheshire UK.

 

Darren Fisher

Operational Finance Director

Darren is a chartered accountant, qualifying with Coopers & Lybrand and holds a first class degree in Mathematics. After leaving practice he has held roles in a wide range of Plcs spanning varied industries including manufacturing (Northern Foods Plc and Heywood Williams Plc), vehicle telematics (Minorplanet Systems Plc) and an ISP (Plusnet Plc). During this time he held roles ranging from Financial Controller to Head of Finance. Latterly, he has performed senior interim management roles at Turner & Townsend, UK Coal Plc and United Utilities Plc.


Interesting achievements include heading up the customer service department at Plusnet after the sale to BT and reducing customer churn from 20% to 10% and at Minorplanet he ensured that a team of over 100 developers stopped developing spaghetti code and started to act as a professional target driven function by introducing a team of programme managers.

He has bought and sold businesses and during his time at Minorplanet raised money on the stock exchange.

He lives in Yorkshire with his family and in his spare time enjoys coaching a youth football team.


Daniel Christian

Business Development Director

Daniel has held various senior operational management roles within some of the leading off shore knowledge process outsourcing firms in the state of Gujarat, India. Since 2005, Daniel has been instrumental in planning, transition, implementation and set up various service delivery models of various off shore recruitment processes for UK’s SME and corporate recruitment firms enabling clients to improve operational efficiency and productivity. Daniel is based in Skipton, North Yorkshire since he relocated to the UK in 2009.


Maulik Patel

Managing Director, Locums Limited

Maulik is a Chartered Accountant and has 12 years of experience in Management Accounts, Auditing and Taxation.


Maulik’s strength lies in his ability to focus on deliverables and attention to the client’s specific requirement. His “we don’t go home until the job is done” attitude has been appreciated by many clients.


Ravi Jain

Internal Finance Director

Ravi is a Chartered Accountant with a Diploma in Information System Audits from the Institute of Chartered Accountants in India (ICAI). He has over 6 years of experience in the Accounting industry.


At QX, Ravi heads the operations of the India office and maintains QX’s internal finance function. He is also responsible for infrastructure procurement and setup, vendor liaisons, and overall project management. As an expert auditor, he also ensures legal compliance of QX’s Indian subsidiary.


Jija Menon

Director, HR

Jija has an MBA in Human Resources. Jija joined QX last year and brought with her 13 years of HR experience in the Outsourcing industry.


She has excellent people-management skills and a deep understanding of the work ethics and culture prevalent in the global business environment. She was actively involved in implementing HR Systems and sub-systems as per ISO standards in a couple of her earlier assignments; an endeavour she aims to revisit at QX.


Besides HR, Jija and her team also take care of activities related to visa processing, travel, team events and trips, and other employee motivation and development related activities.


Hitesh Samvedi

Director, Network and systems

Hitesh has a Diploma in Electronics and Communication Engineering, and is also a Cisco Certified Networking Associate. He has 10 years of experience in installing, trouble shooting and maintaining telecom equipment as well as designing, installing and maintaining LAN, WAN, voice connectivity and operating systems.


Hitesh and team are on-call 24 hours a day to ensure “we don’t have an IT problem”. His team is responsible for the technical infrastructure. They handle user support, as well as Remote Administration of Avaya G3Si PBX installed in the UK, configure and administer switches and QX’s firewall systems to ensure data security, backup/restore data and manage assets.


Jignesh Gohil

Director, Software

Jignesh is a Master of Computer Applications and has 9 years of experience in developing various projects for different functional areas like recruitment, accounts and payroll, manufacturing, web portal sectors by using different technologies like .Net, c#, Visual Basic, INGRES and Superbase.


At QX, Jignesh has developed several highly functional systems including a document management system, a time-management system, a Payroll system, and CRM tools for Internal use & External Clients. He has also been a key participant in developing the website for QX and its group companies.


Kate Simpson

Office Manager

Kate has over 13 years of experience in payroll; previously managing a daily payroll for a Healthcare Recruitment company with upwards of 200 employees


She has been with QX for 5 years and is the manager of the UK office, overseeing all aspects of payroll and the daily operations of the office.
