The war for talent is intensifying and therefore organizations like QX Ltd need to make talent management a top priority.
To acknowledge the importance QX puts on its employees, we have recently taken on a communication and cultural trainer in the form of Steven Liu.
Steven is an Arts graduate in Political Science from the Calcutta University; and he has more than 10 years’ experience of working with multinational companies, in particular associated with business process outsourcing and with British clients and customers.
He started his professional journey with Exl Services Pvt. Ltd. and then went on to work with Accenture Services Pvt. Ltd. for over 6 years. His career then took him to involvement with start-ups, an Italian management consulting firm and then a British firm called Flamingo, a division of the Omnicom Group in India. He possesses excellent verbal and written communications skills along with ‘hands on’ expertise in operations management. Steven’s wide experience and expertise means we now have someone who can impart on the job training and language skills in addition to an understanding of the cultural norms of our wide ranging global clients.
On the training and development front, QX has so far imparted 5000+ hours of training (internal and external) averaging 11 hours per staff and covering nearly 70% of employees in the past year alone. Providing a realistic career path for employees is also high on the agenda and QX has initiated training for their Young Leaders programme under the guise of ‘Elevate 2016’ and now plans to impart training for its Next Generation programme entitled “INSPIRE 2016” in the coming months.
