It’s official, we can stop holding our breath and announce that we’ve made the shortlist for the 2017 Association of Professional Staffing Companies (APSCo) Awards for Excellence!
APSCo is a trade body that was formed to promote excellence in the professional recruitment market. It acknowledges the quality, forward thinking and professionalism of APSCo member firms.
QX is honoured and excited to be one of three organisations shortlisted for the Affiliate Member of the Year category. Commenting on our inclusion in the list of finalists, QX Director of Operations, Pom Chakravarti said:
“The past year has been rather interesting for the recruitment industry with the legislative reforms and fortunately we were in the position to assist several recruitment agencies to navigate these changes. Throughout the years, we have heard good things from our clients, but are especially happy that the industry is acknowledging our efforts. We have also been nominated for other prestigious awards, including the GSA Professional Awards, and are experiencing a great momentum. We hope that this will become a powerful driving force for the team at QX as we continue to deliver the exceptionally high standard of service that clients have come to expect from QX.”
The Affiliate Member of the Year Award will go to the APSCo affiliate member that has continually demonstrated the professional values, outstanding performance, and support of fellow APSCo members throughout the past 12 months.
Entrants to the awards pass through a rigorous assessment process. QX provided detailed answers and supporting evidence encompassing a wide range of topics, including our contribution to the recruitment industry, our processes, legal and ethical standards, training and development programs, how we have dealt with the challenges in the past 12 months (with what results), and how we propose to serve our clients better over the coming years.
Commenting on the shortlist announcement, Ann Swain, APSCo Chief Executive said;
“We are no longer surprised by the volume and quality of entries that we receive each year, which, as always, invokes a great sense of pride here at APSCo. A commonality which all shortlisted organisations share is a strong commitment to training and development – and I’m sure it is no coincidence that this is why these companies maintain such high professional standards and excel in innovation. Once again, I expect it to be challenging for our judges to decide on the winners. All of our finalists have shown a real commitment to the ethos of APSCo and have demonstrated real excellence and we congratulate them all.”
The winner will be declared later in the year following a round of interviews with each of the shortlisted firms. We wish everyone all the best and good luck.
