Every business in the modern world knows that it’s important to foster an environment that allows their employees to innovate and push their talents to do great things.
But great things don’t just happen by accident. We have to expand our horizons and find new ways to hire the next generation of employees who are as diverse as the country we live in. That’s why we have launched a new initiative that will lead to a much stronger and diverse workforce at QX.
In a bid to meet our goals, we have increased our regular referral bonus to employees who suggest women candidates that help us meet our business objectives.
“We are committed to increase gender diversity at QX”, said Chandrasekhar Sharma, Chief People Officer. “We are currently offering our employees an increased referral bonus to help us attract qualified and suitable female candidates. Of course, we want our employees to refer their other intelligent friends and family members too, so the standard referral program will continue.”
A total of 643 employees work for QX. Here's a breakdown of our gender data as of April 2016.
Employees across QX and the KPO industry in India are predominantly males, with a disproportionately low number of females but we are aiming to change that. We understand that it will take some time before we meet our goal of creating a more diverse workforce, but we have started our journey on this road and are positive that the new referral bonus will encourage more recommendations.
