Great place to work

Our employees are our most important asset – without them we simply don’t have a company. We know that building workplace trust is the best investment we can make as it leads to better recruitment, lower staff turnover, greater innovation, higher productivity, more loyal customers and higher profits.

Understanding our team of employees and assessing their feelings around workplace trust is therefore vital and why we invest in an annual survey through the Great Place to Work ® Institute. The model they use is derived from the definition of a great workplace as one where employees trust the people they work for, have pride in what they do, and enjoy the people they work with.

The results of previous surveys have led us to implement changes in the way we run our company and provided insight into the abilities of our managers to guide the business. It also provides a ranking to enable us to benchmark how we are performing against other organisations across India.

The 2012 survey places us just below the average achieved by the top 50 companies ranked as ‘best places to work in India in 2012′ (we scored an average 79 against the top 50 average of 82); in fact in many areas we scored substantially higher than they did.
