Chris Robinson, Executive Chairman of QX Ltd, founded the company in 2003 in Skipton, North Yorkshire to provide cost-effective outsourced accounting services to Chartered Accountants through its office in Ahmedabad, India. His own personal experience of setting up a company in India means he can bring valuable insight into the steps and processes a business needs to take to establish themselves there.

An ICAEW-qualified Chartered Accountant by profession, Chris qualified with KPMG and was in practice for over 20 years. He ran Business Solutions (Northern) Limited, providing accounting and part time FD services to owner-managed businesses in the Yorkshire area. From there he joined the dot com boom and spent three years as a Finance Director of an AIM-listed ISP.

In 2002, he was a founding member of the team to take over JCJ (now HCL Doctors), a specialist locum recruitment agency, which he grew from a turnover of £1 million to £30 million within 3 years.


Sumit is the Group CEO of QX, where he sets company goals and aligns them across QX. In his role, he is also responsible for managing the company, developing and executing long-term business strategies, and interacting with clients, employees and other stakeholders. He is QX’s primary decision maker, setting the tone for the company’s policies, values, ethics and culture.

Sumit joins QX following 22 years of overall experience and 8 years in leadership roles at TCI, KeyPoint Technologies and Adaptive Mobile. Most recently, Sumit headed TCI (portfolio company of a private equity and venture capital firm Eli Global), where he was responsible for its global operations and M&A and investment strategy.

In his free time, he loves to enjoy long drives and movies with his wife and two daughters. Golf and off roading are some his interests outside work.


Anil is a qualified Chartered Accountant, Cost and Management Accountant and Certified Financial Planner and a member of ICWAI, the Indian equivalent of ICAEW. He has over 16 years of experience in accounting, investment banking and wealth management. One of the founding members of QX, Anil is now a mentor to the company and is responsible for corporate governance and strategic development.

As the QX Corporate Advisors founder and Managing Director, Anil brings deep and broad expertise to bear on global economic analysis, business valuation, corporate finance and strategic planning including deal-structuring and negotiations for equity investments and acquisitions, tax strategy and FEMA regulations.


Ravi Jain is a Chartered Accountant with a Diploma in Information System Audits from the Institute of Chartered Accountants in India (ICAI). He has over 7 years of experience in the Accounting industry.

At QX, Ravi heads the operations in the India office, maintains QX’s internal finance and assists in setting up business in India. He is also responsible for infrastructure procurement and setup, vendor liaisons, and overall project management. As an expert auditor, he also ensures legal compliance of QX’s Indian subsidiary.


Ravi Kurani is an MBA (Finance) from Australia and has over 15 years of experience in the outsourcing industry. He works closely with companies in the UK to assist them to define their India strategy, to achieve efficiencies in the UK and has responsibility for transition and implementation of QX services.

At QX, he has been instrumental in growing the outsourced accountancy offer. His responsibilities today include business development across all sectors with a focus on Finance & Accounting outsourcing.

Prior to joining QX, he worked with both start up and large BPO companies in the US and UK market. He is a COPC ® certified professional and has handled the transition of large projects from the US to India. He has an in-depth knowledge of client relationship management and strategic consulting.


Alok Bhatt is the Sales Director at QX Ltd, responsible for overseeing QX’s business strategy in the UK and USA. In his role, he works closely with the company’s six divisional heads and the senior leadership team to ensure that QX is well-positioned for continued growth in each of these divisions.

Prior to joining QX, Alok has worked with global leaders in the business process management industry primarily focusing on Fortune 500 companies in retail, ecommerce, CPG & manufacturing verticals.

In his most recent assignment with an MNC, he was responsible for managing the sales operations for the business unit with close to USD 100 million in revenue. His key responsibilities included creating and executing sales strategies, building sales pipeline, managing account plans and running marketing campaigns.

Alok brings with him an extensive experience of developing new capabilities and services, both in-house as well as through strategic partnerships, and converting them into sustainable profit centers.


Pom is a management graduate with specialisation in marketing and finance and has over 11 years of industry rich experience of providing professional services. Having been with QX Ltd since 2005, he has worked on multiple group businesses across the UK and the Republic of Ireland. He works closely with the teams in the UK and India.

He possesses strong and varied experience in driving an overall project including process efficiencies through automation, payroll and accounts, compliance and building relations with recruitment agencies supplying temporary workers.

Over the years he has been actively involved in speaking at forums, participating in the round table discussions with industry bodies, industry peers, HMRC officials and consulting the Big 4 to ensure QX Ltd is a step ahead of the game as the employment tax is quite a tricky region to deal in.

Pom’s knack for handling different businesses such as payroll solutions, managed services and back office solutions with ease has helped QX Ltd to mark a strong presence across these business areas.


Ketan is the Director for the recruitment process outsourcing division. He has been solely responsible for leading and executing QX’s operational excellence and service delivery. In this role he utilises the best industry practices to ensure that clients receive the highest quality of service.

Ketan brings a depth of knowledge in the recruitment process outsourcing business as he has experience with offshore staffing companies in the recruitment industry. He has successfully spearheaded several challenging recruitment process outsourcing projects in the UK and Australia. He has strong work ethics, a problem solving attitude and is results driven. He has an exceptional ability to develop and maintain client relationships while providing them with strategic consulting.


Dishant Desai is a fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). He has worked as a tax senior with Cranleys Chartered Accountants in the UK, and has spent around 4 years working as Operations Director with QX Limited. His main responsibility is the management of “QXAS”, a department supporting finance and accounting functions for UK and US accounting practices and SMEs. His duties include all operational aspects of accounting: from tax planning, tax advice and staff training through to keeping tight control over deadlines and workflow.

He is also responsible for managing relationships with his clients and ensuring that his team of over 50 accountants provide a complete back office service in line with UK GAAP law.

Dishant has had great success managing growth, developing key personnel, improving regulatory compliance and streamlining disparate finance and accounting processes.


Mahesh is a qualified chartered accountant with 16 years of experience in the field, and one of the very first employees of QX Ltd, having been with the company since 2004.

Mahesh possesses broad experience of providing comprehensive support to the Payroll Managers, Finance Controllers and Finance Directors of student accommodation, recruitment, healthcare, manufacturing, media & publishing and software development companies through a dedicated finance team. He oversees the management of more than 150 accountants and payroll specialists and is responsible for the entire service delivery.

His focus on building strong client relationships and his willingness to walk the extra mile have led to several long-lasting client relationships. He takes QX’s partnership approach to heart and delivers value-added services that fuel clients’ success. Under his leadership, the QX F&A division has grown by leaps and bounds, driven primarily by referrals from delighted clients.


Hardik is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) from the state of Colorado in US. Hardik is also a Chartered Accountant (CA) from India. He also holds DISA qualification which is highest degree in India, for system security and control. He has done his Masters in Accounting and Auditing from Gujarat University, India.

He looks after the USA operations and assists in setting up companies in USA market. He is responsible for overseeing the delivery of finance and accounting operations for USA companies and manages a team of Chartered Accountants and non-CAs that review and prepare various types of Federal and State Tax returns, payroll processing and returns, sales tax returns and bookkeeping services.

Hardik has extensive knowledge of the complexity of American accounting and taxation work having over 12 years’ experience in the outsourcing industry as captive and third party operations.


Jignesh has a Masters of Computer Applications degree together with 10 years of experience in developing diverse projects in the recruitment, accounts, and payroll sectors. He is an expert in creating web portals, employing different technologies such as .Net, C#, Visual Basic, INGRES and Superbase.

At QX, Jignesh has developed highly-functional and integrated systems including a document management system, a time-management system, a payroll system, and CRM tools for internal usage, as well as external client applications. He has also actively contributed to the development of the QX website.


As an integral member of the QX F&A leadership team in India, Rajesh is responsible for a timely and accurate delivery of our accounting and payroll services to a number of client businesses in a cost-effective and scalable manner. An important part of his role is to work closely with our managers and team members and trouble shoot problems as they may arise. Rajesh also manages QX’s Vadodara centre.

Joining QX in early 2010, Rajesh brings with him over 19 years of experience in the accounting industry including 12 years from the UK. Early on with QX he contributed toward the successful migration of F&A projects for various companies including a company which has its operations facilities scattered over 6 countries and deals with more than 14 currencies.

Mr Sodha is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) and also holds a Masters degree in Commerce


Chandra is a qualified Accountant with over 14 years of experience in the field of accounting and finance. One of the founding members of QX, he has managed many successful transitions and successfully directed the accounting practice business at QX for two years before moving into the limited companies operation.

Chandra is a very versatile and pragmatic person with rich accounting experience from a prior tenure with a UK-based company where he was Manager – Accounts & Administration. One of his key strengths is his impeccable communication skills and the ability to lead by example.


Praveen is QX’s vice president of HR, responsible for our human resource strategy and programs that empower QX employees to deliver the very best business process outsourcing services to its customers.

A practical thinker who guides and leads HR programs that enhance revenue growth and profitability while creating employee-friendly, safe, and productive work environments, he looks after the human resources team which aim to deliver a great employee experience for QX’s people. He is a strong advocate of diversity, innovation and loyalty at work.

Before joining QX, Praveen has worked for over 19 years in various HR capacities, in high-growth outsourcing companies like Zensar Technologies, EXL Services and Accenture.

Praveen has a PGP Diploma in HR from Symbiosis institute of Management Studies, Pune.


Hitesh completed a diploma in Electronics and Communications Engineering and is a Cisco Certified Networking Associate. He has more than 10 years of experience in installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining telecommunications equipment. He is an expert in designing and installing LAN, WAN, Voice Connectivity, and different Operating System.

Hitesh directs a team responsible for the technical infrastructure as well as for user support; they are on-call 24 hours a day and ensure that no IT problems hamper QX’s productivity. The team also monitors the remote administration of the Avaya G3Si PBX phone system installed in the UK office. His team ensures data integrity and security for all QX clients by configuring QX’s firewall systems and also provides backups and data restoration services.


Kate is the Payroll Manager at QX Ltd and is responsible for overseeing payroll services for a number of our clients and manages our UK operation.

Kate has over 19 years’ experience within the payroll environment and brings with her immense knowledge from working with a range of payroll sizes and client types. Prior to joining QX Ltd, Kate was part of a payroll team within one of the UK’s largest medical recruitment agencies which supplies locums into the NHS.

She joined QX Ltd in 2004 as Payroll Manager and is known within the company as the “payroll guru”. Kate has great attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple clients’ payrolls seamlessly and accurately whilst maintaining up-to-date knowledge of associated legislation, processes and protocols.
